Midland ISD Announces Personnel Changes, Approve Pay Raises

MIDLAND - Midland educators are reaping the rewards for all their hard work in the classroom.

The M.I.S.D. Board on Tuesday approved 3.8 million dollars in pay raises for teachers for next school year, which is a little more than $1,400 each, and there's an incentive package for substitutes, which adds $360,000 for the year.

The district also announced that Jeff Horner will become the new Principal at Midland High, and Jill Rivera, the former Instructional Services Director at Midland High will be the new Freshman High Principal.
