Police Locate Body of Missing Odessa Man, 4 Arrests Made

ODESSA - The body of a missing Odessa man found, and 4 people have been charged in his murder.

Odessa police tell NewsWest 9, one of the suspects led investigators to Robert Thornhill's body in a pasture in Goldsmith.

Thornhill who was 22 years old was reported missing May 19th.

His family last saw him driving off in his truck on Sandalwood Street.

His truck was later found with a collegue who said thornhill left the truck with him, but after interviewing several people of interest, police say one suspect led them to Thornhill's body in Goldsmith.

20-year-old Derek Elms, 18-year-old Willie Carl Hurst, 19-year-old Heather Mitchell, and 20-year-old Kathleen Newbury have been arrested and charged with first degree murder.

Still no word on how Thornhill was killed.

His body has been sent to Tarrant County for an autopsy.
