DALLAS - A man caught in Van Horn after robbing an armored truck in Dallas was in federal court on Thursday.
51-year-old Freddy Lee Foots was arrested September 14th at a Van Horn motel..
That's after he led deputies and state troopers on a high speed chase down Intestate 10.
Foots is accused of robbing nearly two million dollars from an armored car parked in front of the Compass Bank in Dallas, back in September of 2007.
His accomplice is still on the loose...
Foots faces a maximum life prison term, a $250,000 fine, and restitution if he's convicted.
Prosecutors also say foots and his accomplice robbed another armored car in Dallas in 1988, escaping with a little more than a million dollars.
Both received 20-year prison terms and were released in 2006.
