Shooting Suspects Turn Themselves in to Police

BIG SPRING - The two men wanted in connection with the shooting in Big Spring early this week are behind bars.  

42-year old Roland Garcia and 18-year old Tony Martinez turned themselves in to Howard County Officials Friday morning.  

Both men are suspects in the shooting of Antonio Flores Tuesday night, hitting him multiple times.  

Flores is in the hospital, and is expected to be okay.  

Garcia and Martinez face charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Police tell NewsWest Nine they believe the shooting is gang related.  

This is the not the first run in with the law this year for Martinez.

He was arrested back in March for shooting a 19-year-old.  

According to police, the victim was sitting in a car when Martinez pulled up in another car, and opened fired with a shotgun hitting him in the ear and shoulder.  

Martinez turned himself into authorities, then bonded out of jail.
