AUSTIN (AP) - The Texas Supreme Court has ruled the polygamist sect children from Eldorado should be returned to their parents.

Parents and lawyers have been anxiously awaiting the ruling from the high court since a lower court said child welfare officials were wrong to take the more than 400 children from their parents.

The high court affirmed a decision by the appellate court last week, saying Child Protective Services failed to show an immediate danger to the more than 400 children swept up from the
Yearning For Zion Ranch.

The children from the Yearning For Zion Ranch in Eldorado have been in state custody for nearly two months.
