ALPINE - The Texas Forest Service is trying to get the upper hand on a fast growing grass-fire east of Alpine.
The flames are being fueled by high winds.
The Rocking J-B-H fire has already scorched 900 acres.
NewsWest 9 just received these pictures (shown to the right) from one of our viewers, the pictures were sent in to our Newswest9.com Viewpoint.
As you can see, the fire is pretty massive.
The Texas Forest Service says they're fighting the blaze with ground and air resources and have called for more backup to be sent in.
Around 90 fire fighters trying to put the flames out, but the winds are just fueling the fire and causing the fire to spread.
No word if any homes are in danger.
