MIDLAND - Bond is set for two men who led Midland police on a wild chase in a stolen truck on Monday morning.

29-year-old Gary Bell will have to fork out $500, and 30-year-old Deric Leavitt will have to pay almost $350 to get out of jail.

Bell faces several charges including robbery and evading arrest.

Leavitt has been charged with public intoxication.

Police say the pair were picked up by a woman on Tanner street in Midland.

When she dropped them off near her house, they forced her out, and took her truck.

Apparently they didn't go too far,  as she was telling police her story, the woman spotted them.

That's when the chase started.

Police say they chase went all the way down Highway 191, near the intersection of Faudree Road.

That's where the truck slammed into the back of a patrol car, and pushed it off the road.

The pair then plowed through a field and came to a stop where they were arrested.
