WARD COUNTY - Fire crews finally have things under control of after a big grassfire off I-20 in Ward County.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, but it's already consumed about 250 acres of ranchland.
Fire crews are still dealing with hot spots --on this fire-- now dubbed "The Anthony Fire" after the ranch where it started close to milemarker 82 on I-20.
Fire crews from the Texas Forest Service launched an air attack, while seven volunteer fire departments on the ground worked to put it the flames.
Authorities also had to deal with a minor car accident as a result of a driver looking at crews battling the blaze.
The flames forced officials to close off the eastbound parts of I-20 for a little while on Sunday afternoon, but fire officials say right now things are under control.
