COLORADO - Colorado State Police are still investigating a wreck that killed a Midland man over the weekend.

The accident happened late Saturday night about 10 miles south of Springfield.

State Police tell NewsWest Nine the wreck happened when a pick-up turned in front of the big rig driven by Shirley Bell of Midland.

The semi T-boned the truck, and both were sent rolling.

Bell's husband, 49-year-old Richard Bell, who was riding with his wife, was thrown from the cab of the truck.

We're told he wasn't wearing seat belt.

The Bells' were taken to a Denver hospital where Richard died.

The driver of the pick-up, who is from Colorado, was pronounced dead at the scene.
