The accident happened late Saturday night about 10 miles south of Springfield.

State Police tell NewsWest Nine the wreck happened when a pick-up turned in front of the big rig driven by Shirley Bell of Midland.

The semi T-boned the truck, and both were sent rolling.

Bell's husband, 49-year-old Richard Bell, who was riding with his wife, was thrown from the cab of the truck.

We're told he wasn't wearing seat belt.
