MIDLAND - He didn't do it.

That's the verdict from a Midland jury for a man accused of burning his house down, almost three years ago.

A jury deliberated for about seven hours before coming back with a not guilty verdict.

Robert Pickard was accused of burning down his house to get the insurance money.

His trial went on for more than a week.

No one was hurt in the house fire on Heather road.

Pickard was in Amarillo when his house went up in flames.
