CARLSBAD, NEW MEXICO - Texas Rangers have caught a murder suspect after he was on the run for more than a month.
On Monday afternoon, 29-year old Rodney Mason was arrested in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Mason was wanted in connection with the stabbing death of 18-year old Timothy Sanchez in Glasscock County, back in March.
Investigators say Sanchez's body was found on the side of Highway 137, about 12 miles south of Stanton.
Mason was arrested at a relative's house in Carlsbad.
He has been charged with murder.
Mason is being held at the Eddy County Detention Center.
His bond has been set at one million dollars.
