ODESSA - Fire crews still don't know what caused a fire that killed a 65 year old man on Sunday.
Firefighters pulled the man out of his burning trailer around four Sunday afternoon.
Fire crews say the smoke was just too much for him, and they were unable to get him to start breathing.
Ector County Deputies and investigators along with Odessa and West Odessa Volunteer firefighters were all on the scene.
The man's family showed up a few hours later, and they say Ronald Pruitt, known to them only as Uncle Ronny will deeply be missed.
"He was very, very giving to people. If there was somebody walking down the street, he was the type of person who would stop and pick them up no matter what time of night it was. He didn't want anybody to do without," Amanda Navarette, niece of Ronald Pruitt, said.
Pruitt did not have any children.
