REEVES COUNTY - A busy week already for the Reeves County Sheriff's Department with two big marijuana busts.
On Monday, 32-year-old Francisco Archuleta, and 37-year-old Sabino Florez Mendoza were pulled over for routine traffic violations on Interstate 20.
According to the Criminal Interdiction Unit, each man had has his own vehicle, and after agreeing to a search, authorities found more than 350 pounds of pot.
Street value of all that marijuana, about $250,000.
Both men were charged with possession of marijuana, and could get up to 20 years in prison.
The very next day, the Criminal Interdiction Unit pulled over another man for a traffic violation on I-20.
Officials tell NewsWest Nine 23-year-old Joshua Jarrod Johnson gave them permission to search his vehicle.
Authorities found 40 bricks of marijuana hidden in a spare tire, weighing about 140 pounds, and worth about $100,000.
Johnson was also charged with possesion of pot.
He also faces up to 20 years behind bars.
