Two Odessa Teens Arrested after Explosion in Their Neighborhood

ODESSA - Two Odessa teens in big trouble for setting off an explosion in their neighborhood.

The blast went off Monday night at around 8:30 in the 3100 block of Adams.

According to Odessa Police, the two boys, ages 13 and 14, were mixing household chemicals to get that explsosion.

They were arrested and taken to the Ector County Youth Center, and charged with possession of a prohibitive weapon.

That's a third degree felony.
