MIDLAND - A Midland man facing federal prison time after he pleads guilty to a January bank robbery.
According to the United States Attorney Office, 25-year-old Eric Andrew Rios admitted to robbing Community National Bank in Midland, back in January.
Rios confessed to walking into the bank, handed a teller a note saying this a robbery and threatened to shoot.
When the teller didn't move fast enough, he yelled the threat again.
Rios ran off with $3,000 in cash, but he didn't get far before he was arrested.
When police busted him, they recovered the cash, and a pellet gun, cops say looked like the real thing.
