ODESSA - Fear and intimidation used against teachers by a Principal or Administrator.
On Tuesday night, one representative for a Teacher's Association in Ector County says it does happen sometimes.
On Tuesday night, the Ector County School Board heard from Chuck Isner.
He says there's no place for that type of management style, and that it only hurts teachers, and ultimately students.
Isner discussed the possibility of holding a workshop for district managers.
Board President Carol Gregg says, teachers shouldn't fear getting fired, because they have many rights these days, including a chance to have a hearing about any problem.
Gregg added, it's very rare for any teacher to be terminated, unless the issue is extreme.
