Midland City Council Turns Down New Business

MIDLAND - The Midland City Council turning down a project to bring a new business to the airport.

On Tuesday, the Midland Development Corporation and the City Council met to discuss considering the largest project brought up for the Midland area.

Dean Baldwin Painting, an aircraft stripping and painting business, wanted to lease a hangar at Midland International, and have the Midland Development Corporation build two other hangars.

The City Council voted to cancel the proposed agreement.
