BIG SPRING - Guilty.

That's the verdict against a Big Spring transient for kidnapping two small children last year.

It took a Howard County jury a little more than an hour to convict 46-year-old Tracy Wilson.

Wilson was found guilty of kidnapping, and aggravated kidnapping with the intent to commit sexual assault.

Last October, wilson took an eight-year-old boy and a ten-year-old girl from their front yard.

Prosecutors say Wilson said he was the girl's uncle, and convinced them to go with him.

When the children reached Wilson's motor home, the boy got scared and escaped, he then called police.

That boy led the police back to the motor home before the girl was hurt.

If he's convicted, Wilson faces up to 99 years in prison and a 10-thousand dollar fine.

Sentencing will be at a later date.
