MIDLAND - A Midland man is facing charges after a five hour neighboorhood disturbance with police, over the weekend.
42-year-old Bradley Timms has been charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault.
According to police, Timms had been banging on windows, doors, and cars before entering the home of a neighbor in the 3500 block of Humble Saturday afternoon.
We're told Timms barricaded himself in the home of his parents, and refused to come out.
The SWAT team was called, streets were blocked off, and several neighboring homes were evacuated during the disturbance.
After five hours, police used tear gas to get him out of the house.
Timms was taken to the hospital for a mental evaluation.
When he was released Monday afternoon, police were waiting for him.
No bond has been set.
