Fire Burns 2,500 Acres Along Interstate 20
ECTOR COUNTY - The fire along Interstate 20 near F.M. 1053 is finally out. Volunteer firefighters put out the last of the hotspots Friday afternoon. According to Chief Jimmy Ellis, it took about five hours, with most of the work going into to dousing about 100 railroad ties.
