NEAR LOVINGTON, NEW MEXICO - Authorities in New Mexico are still trying to figure out what sparked a massive grassfire near Lovington.
They say the fire started on Saturday afternoon about two miles southeast of the town.
Winds made it tough to put out the grassfire as it burned nearly 10,000 thousand acres.
Officials say the three families who were evacuated were able to go back home on Sunday.
They say the fire is now contained, and there is no longer a danger to nearby residents.
