MIDLAND - A Pecos man is headed to federal prison after pleading guilty to a carjacking.
26-year-old Jimmy James Montour also has to pay a 250 thousand dollar fine.
U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton made the announcement Friday afternoon in Midland, but the sentencing will come at a later date.
Court documents indicate that Montour and a juvenile approached the victim on South County Road back on December 27th.
Montour admitted that he threatened the man with a knife, and said he'd kill him if he didn't comply with his demands.
