Midland Man Behind Bars for Making a Bomb

MIDLAND - A Midland man behind bars arrested for making a bomb.

It happened Tuesday night in the 700 block of south Big Spring.  

According to Sheriff Gary Painter, one of his deputies heard an explosion, and after investigating, saw three people run into a cellar behind a house.  

After taking all three into custody, 21-year-old Robert Lane Ramos, Junior, admitted he made the bomb.  

He's facing a prohibitive weapons charge.  

The other two, who are minors, were not charged.   

Bond for Ramos has been set at $15,000.
