BORDEN COUNTY - Firefighters are keeping the pressure on a big grassfire in Borden County.
The Texas Forest Service tells NewsWest Nine the fire is about 80% contained.
The fire started Monday from a blown transformer, and ended up scorching more than 15,000 acres by Tuesday night.
Two structures were in the path of the flames, but firefighters were able to save them.
One rancher suffered burns to his hands and feet.
We're told the Forest Service will take back to the sky on Thursday to check for hotspots and flare-ups.
