ODESSA - In this day and age of rising prices, we have some good news to report at Odessa College.
The prices of some educational opportunities are coming down.
On Tuesday, Odessa College President Gregory Williams reported that their reducing tuition for the newly named dual credit program, called "College Now".
It's for high school juniors and seniors who want to take some college courses while earning credit for their high school graduation.
Students like it, because it provides them with flexible, accessible, and affordable courses.
"We're trying to do more with what we have. We're looking at more technical programs, more academic programs. We've had the academic programs on somewhat limited basis over the last 10 years. We're trying to enhance those but we're also trying to increase the technical so that all students can benefit. In addition to that, we're lowering the cost for students," Dr. Gregory Williams, President of Odessa College, said.
