Seven years in a federal prison.

That's the sentence for an Odessa attorney convicted on child pornography and drug charges.

After he serves his time, 32-year-old Ralph Anthony Torres Jr.  will be put on probation for 15 years.

The judge recommended Torres spend part of his prison time at a correctional treatment center in North Carolina.

Torres plead guilty to the charges in November.

He was caught after a traffic stop turned up cocaine in a mini-van he was driving.

After searching his home, authorities found more cocaine and pot along with thousands of images of girls as young as six and eight years old.
