Four Drive-By Shootings in Two Days in Big Spring

In the past two days, there have been four drive by shootings in Big Spring. 

The most recent occured this morning at 1:28a.m. in the 1500 block of Owens.

Several shots were fired into a residence on Owens.  An 11-year-old male was sleeping on the couch of the residence and was struck in the buttock by one round.  The victim was transported by ambulance to the emergency room and was later transported to a Lubbock Hospital.

This follows three other drive-by shootings in Big Spring.  The first drive-by occured on Monday, March 24th at 12:59a.m.  in the 2300 Block of Grace. 

The second shooting occured the same day in the 600 Block of Holbert at 9:51p.m.

The third shooting occured this morning at 12:30a.m. in the 2500 Block of Dow.

No injuries were reported in any of these shootings. 

The Big Spring Police Department is still investigating the shootings.
