MARTIN COUNTY - A truck driver became trapped after flipping an 18-wheeler in Martin County Monday morning.
State troopers say he became distracted and drifted off Highway 349 rolling his rig.
The accident happened just after 4:30 Monday morning about 20 miles north of Midland.
Emergency crews had to cut the trapped driver out.
He was treated and released.
Deputies had to shut part of the Highway down for more than 10 hours to clean up the mess.
The trailer was badly damaged, and the groceries inside had to be unloaded before it could be moved.
Highway 349 is now back open.
No tickets were handed out.
