MIDLAND/ODESSA - One man is behind bars after leading police on a high speed chase from Odessa to Midland late Friday night.
Police say the chase starated when 22-year-old Selestino Hernandez sped away from OPD officers trying to pull him over.
Police and DPS Troopers followed Hernandez all the way into Midland County and onto Midkiff Road.
The tire blew on Hernandez's car and he ended up crashing at the corner of Midkiff and Maxwell around 12:35 am.
Police arrested Hernandez and shipped him off to the Midland County Detention Center.
Authorities have charged him with evading in a vechicle.
That's in addition to mutiple charges from several law enforcement agencies.
He also had outstanding warrants in Howard County.
