ANDREWS COUNTY - Another grass fire in Andrews County Friday afternoon charred more then  200 acres.

White smoke billowed in the air, and all across F.M. 1788.

Crews even had to shut down part of the road.

Firefighters from from Midland, Andrews, and Gardendale helped fight the blaze.

Officials say because the fire came right up to 1788, the concrete helped stop the flames from spreading.

It was contained just before six Friday, but not before 275 acres were burned.

No word yet on what caused it.

This was the fourth fire reported in Andrews County since early Friday morning.
