Some of the officers that protect our federal courts and judges aren't getting paid.
They haven't received any cash for two weeks.
The U.S. Marshal's Office tells NewsWest Nine, the security company that employed the officers went under earlier this year, and its caused checks to bounce for officers here and across the country.
That includes federal courts in Midland, Pecos, and Alpine.
The U.S. Marshal's service says at no time has security been compromised, and a new security company will be taking over security duties on April first.
