Children's Miracle Network Miracle Child John Ross Headed to Washington, D.C.

A local miracle child will be representing the Permian Basin in Washington D.C.

John Ross Espino, who started his life three months premature at Medical Center Hospital will visit Capitol Hill to share his expieriences with the Childrens Miracle Network.

John Ross was the size of a dollar bill when he was born.

Now he's almost 9 years old.

John Ross was honored by his Elementary classmates on Tuesday, and boy is he excited about his trip to D.C.

This is a super opportunity, because he gets to meet the President.

"I'm going to meet the President of the United States," Ross said.

"And what are you going to tell him??" NewsWest 9 asked.

"I am going to argue about the TAKS Test and tie," Ross said.

"Why do you want to argue about the TAKS Test?" NewsWest 9 asked.

"It's stressful," Ross said.

John Ross will be joining Child Ambasadors from across the Nation as part of CMN's Champions Across America.

That program honors remarkable children who have triumphed over severe medical challenges.
