Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Midland County

MIDLAND COUNTY - Quite the scare for two men in Midland County after the plane they were flying ran out of gas, and were forced to make an emergency landing. 

According to airport officials, the plane was on it's way to Midland from Mesquite, Texas when it ran out of gas, and was having engine problems.

Emergency Officials spent close to 45 minutes trying to find the accident site which was located near the intersection of South County Road 1270 and West County Road 160 in Midland County.

Once officials arrived on the scene, both the pilot and the passenger of the small plane were not injured.
