KERMIT - The only nursing home in Kermit may be saved from closing its doors.
NewsWest 9 has learned that a company has made an offer to buy the Kermit Healthcare Services.
While it's not a done deal, the nursing home says it's a good sign they won't be shutting down.
If approved, the sale would go through by April.
That's a relief to many patients there.
They would have been forced to move out by the end of the month.
