Midland Police Arrest Teenager In Connection To Bank Robbery

MIDLAND - One hundred thousand dollars. 

That's the bond for a Midland teen who sits in jail.

He's been charged in last Friday's bank robbery. 

Police say 17 year old Jose Rosales is accused of being the getaway driver.

He's been charged with aggravated robbery. 

The other suspect, 25 year old Eric Rios is facing federal bank robbery charges. 

Police say Rios walked into Community National Bank , then handed a teller a note saying he had a gun, the note demanded all the cash in the drawer or he would kill her. 

When the teller didn't move fast enough, police say Rios verbally told her to hurry up or he would killl her. 

Investigators say Rios fled with the cash, and jumped into a waiting truck, driven by Rosales. 

Authorities caught the pair at an intersection. 

Officers recovered cash from the bank as well as a gun.
