Odessa Police Need Your Help in Locating A Robbery Suspect

Odessa Police are looking for a man they say attacked and robbed two women on the east side of the city last week.

The first attack was last Monday around five-30 in the morning in the 25-hundred block of east 11th street.

Police tell NewsWest Nine, a woman was attacked as she left her apartment.

The suspect took her purse and ran off, the woman was not hurt.

The second attack, on Friday, was in the 800 block of JBS Parkway.

We're told a black man approached a woman as she was leaving work, assaulted her, and took her purse. That woman had to go to the hospital.

Here's a description of who authorities are looking for.

A black man between 23 and 30 years old.

Five-foot-seven to five-foot-nine inches tall, and between 135-175 pounds.

In one of the attacks, the suspect was wearing long dark colored coat.
