He has a passion to volunteer and help, its taken him to ground zero, and now its taking him to Pecos.
Bob Cornell tuned in to NewsWest Nine Monday, and saw the story of the Pecos family who lost almost everything in an arson fire and decided he wanted to help.
Cornell suffers from a brain tumor and has been saving money to pay for his operation.
But after seeing our story on Alfonso Hernandez, Cornell took one thousand dollars he had saved for his operation, and donated the cash to Hernandez Family Thursday morning.
Cornell knows the money he gave Hernandez is not enough to repair the home, but hopes others will step up and help Hernandez and his family.
