More than a million dollars worth of cocaine sits in the Reeves County evidence room, and it was sheer luck, Deputies found it.

Deputies found 1.3 million dollars worth of the white stuff.

The bricks were found in a secret compartment in a van.

They were uncovered after pulling over 26-year-old Daniel Mijares.

He agreed to let them search the van, now he's in jail charged with distributing drugs.

If convicted, he could face anywhere from ten to 99 years in prison.
