A big change is on the way if you regularly fly out of the Midland International Airport to get to Austin.
Southwest Airlines has announced that it is cutting 57 round trip flights across the country, including one daily round trip from Midland to Austin.
The change in schedule will start at the beginning of may According to the Dallas Morning News.
Last November, Southwest cut flights from Midland to El Paso.
Representatives from Southwest say they are planning on adding over 40 flights to other markets like Denver.
They say the reason for cutting flights is because of slowing economic growth.
