The fate of an Odessa woman accused of murder is in the hands of a jury right now.

Closing arguments in the murder trial of Naomi Lee Alva, wrapped up Friday afternoon.

The 20 year old is charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of Adrian Ramiriez Garza at a party in West Odessa back in June of 2006.

Alva is one of three people charged in the deadly shooting.

We're told the shooting happened when a fight got out of hand.

Jesse McGinnis was convicted for his part in the crime back in July, and was sentenced to 99 years in prison.

Johnny Joe Oranday has not yet gone to trial.

If alva is convicted, she could face life in prison.
