Midland's newly elected officials were officially sworn in Monday.

First off, Midland's new Mayor, Wes Perry.

Perry won the Mayoral race back in November.

He says he has a lot of plans in store for the Tall City.

"Well say for the first few days, we're going to have a workshop on Friday.  We're going to be talking about communication with our Council, specifically how we're going to get some things done, where everybody is individually right now, what issues we're going to be facing, and the second thing is going to be the City Manager.  We're going to have to figure out are we doing it internally, are we going to hire an outside search firm, when are we expecting that person to be here.  So setup all the qualifications and get that ball rolling starting this week," Midland Mayor Wes Perry said.

The three new Midland City Council Members were sworn in after Perry.

District Three councilman John James, Michael Trost for district four, and representing the Districts at Large, Scott Dufford.
