Punishments have been handed down to four Iraan teens accused of beating two deer to death on the high school baseball field.

However, Pecos County Justice of the Peace Cathy Ervine won't say what penalties were given to the boys, but she plans to issue a news release on Monday.

The Odessa American reports that Ervine met with two of the teens Wednesday and two on Thursday.

The four have already been told by the school they will spend 88 days of the Spring semester in alternative school.

They're also banned from campus, athletic and school events.

The teens faced fines of up to $500 on two Class C Misdemeanor Counts.
