A tragic scene in Reeves County as troopers tried to figure out the details of a collision that killed four people, sending another victim to the hospital.
The fatal crash happened Saturday around noon on U.S. Highway 285 about nine miles north of Orla.
State troopers say a Ford Explorer was heading north on the highway when it crossed the median and struck a chevrolet pick up.
One of the victims was from Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
The other three victims were from California and New York.
