Their job to fight fires, the crime they're accused of actually setting them.

Two Howard County men, who worked as volunteer firefighters, now sit behind bars accused of arson.

Marvin Eugene Gross, Edward Spivey, and Samuel Smith are charged with arson.

Investigators say they started several fires, one that almost destroyed a structure.

Sheriff Dale Walker confirmed to NewsWest 9, Marvin Gross is a Howard County Volunteer Firefighter, and that Samuel Smith was relieved as a Volunteer Firefighter about a year ago.

The Sheriff says they're still looking for one more suspect.
