Pecos City officials are sending out a warning to residents after they found a coyote with rabies in the city.

The coyote was found back in December.

It's the fifth case of rabies reported in Reeves County this year, the other four cases were out in the county.

City officials say there is no real cause for alarm, but want to remind people to be careful around skunks, foxes, coyotes, raccoons, and other wild animals.
