All over the basin, the fire danger is high, and with the new year on Tuesday, we want to remind you where you can and can't pop off fireworks.
Howard, Winkler, and Martin counties are banning all aerial fireworks.
Those are considered skyrockets with sticks and missiles with fins.
The ban does not apply to small, common fireworks.
As always, fireworks are never allowed within city limits, and it's illegal to light up on public highways or roads.
