Odessa Police need your help finding a burglary suspect

The Odessa Police Department is asking for your help finding a burglary suspect who hit two apartments on back to back nights on the city's east side.

The first one happened back on the 22nd in the 65-hundred block of Eastridge.

Investigators tell NewsWest Nine, a young woman heard a knock on her apartment door, looked through the peep-hole, and didn't see anyone, she opened the door, and when she did, a man forced his way into the apartment, holding a gun.

We're told the suspect tried to get the woman to take off her clothes, she didn't, and he took off on foot.

The very next night in the 48-hundred block of Oakwood, another woman heard a knock at her door.

When she opened it, a man forced his way in with a gun.

Police say the suspect asked a series of questions.

In both cases, the suspect is described as a white or hispanic man, 6' 1" , between 220 and 235 pounds, dressed all in black with face partially covered.

He is believed to be carrying a semi-automatic pistol.
