Midland Police are investigating a weekend convenience store robbery.

It's just one of several robberies that have occurred over the past several days.

This latest one happened Saturday around five in the morning at the Kent Kwik in the 33-hundred block of west Wall.

The suspect in this robbery is described as an african-american man wearing dark clothes.

The female employee says she was opening the store at the time, when the man came up from behind her, and pulled out a knife.

The robber took cash from the register, jumped into a car, and took off.

Police are still investigating.
