It's a website Texas kids love to log onto, santa.com, but the State Attorney General says its collecting personal information on your children.

That's why he filed a lawsuit.

The site celebrates the spirit of Santa, has activities, and lets kids make Christmas lists and write to old saint nick, but it asks kids for personal information to sign on first.

The Attorney General says it violates laws to protect children's privacy.

Now the company has settled with the State, and must verify that a child has permission from the parents to sign up.

It must also disclose how that personal information will be used.
